System Updates

  • 08/15/2019: A short term freeze has been enacted on all new uploads until all customers with orders prior to 08/15/2019 can be fully processed. An additional notice will be posted when this process is complete.

  • 07/16/2019: Extended processing times are being experienced by some customers as a result of a server outage after a change in server configuration. The issue has been resolved, and we apologize for any inconvenience as a result of the outage.

  • 02/01/2019: Processing time is currently at the longer end of the range at around 15 business days. Due to a surge in customer volume in conjunction with relatively limited processing capacity, a daily file upload limit will be instituted where the daily file upload limit will be restricted to 70 files per day. This means that the ability to purchase the report and upload DNA data files will be stopped for the rest of the day once this limit is reached. The term 'day' being defined as 12am-12pm Eastern Standard Time (UTC-05:00).

Unfortunately, this is necessary at the present time to keep the processing time within a 15 business day time frame. For individuals unable to submit their DNA data file due to the file upload limit being reached, please re-submit the file the next day. Please contact us immediately if you have any questions ( and we will respond to you as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that we receive 100+ emails per day regarding general queries, so we will do our best to reply as soon as possible. For a more immediate answer, please see the FAQ section which has answers to the most common customer questions.

  • 01/27/2019: Due to a surge in customer volume, processing time is extended and stands at approximately 15 business days from the initial date of purchase. Please note that the term 'business day' indicates any working day Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays (U.S. only).

  • 12/20/2018: Please note: we are no longer running the free assessment program. Previously, we offered a free Genetic Heritage Assessment to individuals agreeing to possibly be selected for inclusion in our data reference set who could trace their ancestry through all four grandparents back to singular regions within countries. The data gained from these references has been utilized in the creation of our algorithms which speculatively match individuals to regions within countries.
